The Point & The Berry Theatre are looking for a Duty Manager to join our ambitious team who are responsible for running technical services across its venues and programmes.

We are looking for an experienced, creative individual to manage the busy events across The Point & The Berry Theatre. As Duty Manager you will be passionate about creating an excellent customer experience for our visitors and will be responsible for overseeing safe operations of the theatres, box office and bar service during events.

The ideal candidate will have lots of enthusiasm, great customer care and an eye for detail.

This role is required to work at The Point, Eastleigh and The Berry, Hedge End as well as occasional external festival locations across Eastleigh Borough.

As a permanent member of the team, you will be following a changing shift pattern that responds to our Theatre programmes and will require evening and weekend. 18.5 hours per week working across a 7-day week.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE DUTIES
Working as part of the logistics team to ensure smooth running of our venues and external locations. Assisting the Front of House Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the sales and front of house functions during events and activity.

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience:
• Confident in dealing with customers and visitors
• Ability to follow strict health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Sales experience
• Experience of working with volunteers
• Building strong relationships with managers and team members promoting a supportive culture based on excellence, professionalism and consistent communication
• Ideally you will hold a valid driver’s licence
