We are looking to recruit a Local Area Manager for Eastleigh and Chandler’s Ford, to provide strategic leadership for two Local Area Committees (LACs), and support Councillors in governing and addressing the needs of their communities within the available budgets. You will be a responsive and high-profile presence in the community, building partnerships and driving activity to ensure local needs are reflected and met in service delivery, programmes and projects.
What you need to succeed:
Educated to degree level or have an equivalent level of experience in a relevant area.
Demonstrable communication and organisational skills.
Experience in developing and working in partnerships.
Experience working at a strategic level, preferably in Local Government.
Project sponsorship and budget management skills.
A high level of resilience and a strong background in delivery.
